Frequently asked questions

Who is the OFFSET plan suitable for?

The OFFSET plan is the perfect companion if you want to change your diet, free yourself from cravings for sweets and hidden sugars and find your feel-good figure.

How exactly does the OFFSET plan work?

Changing your diet with a fun factor. The OFFSET plan teaches you how to change your diet in the long term. You help your body to wean itself off sugar and get back to your normal hunger-satiety rhythm. With delicious Protein Meals, Fancy Protein Meals and balanced Mixed Meals, changing your diet has never been so easy. No need to give up burgers & co. The OFFSET plan stands for lightness and delicious recipes that are fun!

Will I get a yo-yo effect?

During the OFFSET plan, you will be in a calorie deficit. However, the Protein Meal Shake provides you with all the important nutrients you need, preventing malnutrition during the dietary change. This means that your body will not store all the calories that end up in a yo-yo effect after the plan. Thanks to the change in diet, you will find it easier to eat a healthier and more balanced diet overall, even after the OFFSET plan.

What is a "full meal"?

A meal is considered complete if it contains all the important nutrients that your body needs throughout the day. This means that the meal has a perfect balance of proteins, good fats, carbohydrates, fiber, many vitamins and minerals. The Protein Meal Shake mixed with milk is therefore also a complete meal and provides your body with all the important macro and micronutrients, including 24 vitamins and minerals as well as high-quality proteins.

How do I prepare the Protein Meal Shake?

There are many different ways to prepare your Protein Meal Shake. Generally, you mix your meal with low-fat milk in your ON Cup. With your ON Meal Mixer, you can mix your Protein Meal Shake until it's super creamy—making it incredibly delicious. You can find the exact mixing ratio and how to mix your Protein Meal Shake with your favorite milk in your ON Book.

What is the difference to a protein shake?

Mixed with milk, our Protein Meal Shake is a complete meal that provides you with 24 important vitamins and minerals as well as protein. Your body needs these so that it is properly nourished despite your calorie deficit and does not develop deficiency symptoms. A protein shake cannot provide you with all the nutrients your body needs to be fully nourished. It is therefore only intended to support muscle building after sports sessions.

What makes the Protein Meal so special?

When mixed with milk, Protein Meal is a complete meal (as a shake, muesli, or porridge). Protein Meal is also available in the form of pancakes. But what exactly does that mean? Protein Meal provides you with all the essential proteins, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, meeting your needs for key nutrients with fewer than 250 calories. Plus, it boasts an incredibly delicious taste. In other words, the Protein Meal is packed with healthy ingredients, low in calories, and comes in incredibly delicious flavors. But that’s not all: If you replace two main meals with a Protein Meal each, you’ll lose weight—especially when combined with a low-calorie diet like our OFFSET plan. With the Protein Meal, you can also balance out your calorie intake from time to time. That way, you can indulge without feeling guilty. Based on the health claims according to HCVO from the European Food Safety Authority: Replacing two main meals a day with two Protein Meal meals each contributes to weight loss as part of a low-calorie diet, such as our OFFSET Plan. Protein Meal fulfills its intended purpose only within this framework. Other foods must be part of this diet. Check out our free OFFSET app for lots of delicious recipes for Mixed Meals. Drink 2–3 liters of water daily.
